Privacy policy

Last updated: January 1, 2026

1. Introduction

SOS Hub Canada Inc. ("we", "our" or "the Company") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our clients, visitors and website users. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information under Quebec private-sector privacy legislation (Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, family and professional situation, diplomas, work experience, language-test results, immigration history, related documents, website and cookie data, and campaign or referral information. Business inquiries may also include company, role, sector, workforce, revenue range and intended export markets.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to assess eligibility for Canadian immigration and settlement programs, prepare and submit applications, communicate about your file, send relevant information with consent, improve our services, assess business expansion projects, and measure campaign performance.

4. Consent

By using our services or submitting a form, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@soshubcanada.com, subject to legal or contractual limits.

5. Protection and retention

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including SSL/TLS encryption and restricted access. We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Client files are retained for at least seven years after the end of the mandate where professional-record rules apply.

6. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with service providers acting on our behalf, with your consent, to submit applications to IRCC, MIFI or other authorities, or when required by law. Some providers may be located outside Quebec or Canada and may be subject to the laws of their jurisdiction.

7. Conversational assistant and AI

Our website may offer the Sosia conversational assistant. Messages entered there may be sent to third-party AI providers outside Quebec to generate a response and may be retained in our systems for follow-up. Do not enter sensitive information such as document numbers, financial details or medical information. Sosia's responses are informational only and are not legal or professional immigration advice.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve navigation and measure performance. You can accept or decline optional cookies through the consent banner, or adjust your browser settings. Essential site functions may still use strictly necessary storage.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

10. Contact

For questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact the person responsible for personal information protection.
